Tin box, lined in thin carton container containing:

• 2 tea bags 100% cotton with approximately 2.5g each, of Rooibos from Wester Cape, South Africa
• 1 glass bottle with approximately 50mg of 24K edible gold flakes and 10ml of mineral water.

The name “rooibos” or “red bush” tea refers to the deep russet colour of the leaves after the process of oxidation.

Caffeine free – The Rooibos plant grows naturally without any caffeine. This is important, as it means it does not need to undergo a chemical process to remove the caffeine. It also means that anyone can drink it, including children & pregnant women.

Brewing

We recommend that you follow these steps in order to get the best taste: 8Fl Oz/240ml of water below boiling at around 205ºF/95ºC for 4/5 minutes. The gold can be added before or after pouring the water according to your preference.

it is common to prepare Rooibos in the same manner as black tea: Add milk and sugar to taste. Other methods include a slice of lemon, honey even ice to have it as a cold drink. Just do it in your own way.

Flavour

This straw-coloured plant has fruity notes which produce a rich natural sweetness and a slightly nutty taste. It is known for its mild taste and lack of bitterness found in traditional tea.
